Recognising the vital role that SMEs play within the defence sector, the MOD SME Agenda actively promotes collaboration between prime contractors, MOD, delivery partners and suppliers seeking to enter or expand within the defence supply chain. Building on this, DPRTE 2026 will feature two dedicated Meet the Buyer Hubs designed to facilitate high-value connections and partnership opportunities.

• Prime Contractor Hub
  This Hub is dedicated to connecting suppliers with prime contractor organisations. This hub offers a platform for SMEs and other suppliers to explore subcontracting opportunities, understand prime contractor and Tier 1 supply chain needs, and foster collaborations that support major defence programmes.

• MoD and Delivery Partners Hub
  This Hub focuses on direct engagement with MOD and delivery partners participating at DPRTE. Attendees will have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one appointments with key MOD procurement teams, gaining invaluable insight into current and upcoming defence requirements, procurement processes, and how to navigate MOD supply chains.

Supported by Make UK and ADS, the Meet the Buyer feature areas provide a unique opportunity for suppliers to engage directly with influential buyers and decision-makers, helping them position their businesses for success within the defence procurement supply chain.
