The UK's leading defence
procurement and supply chain event
The UK's defence landscape is changing fast — and with it, the demands on the supply chain that supports it. DPRTE Expo 2027 is where the people meeting that challenge come together. Officially supported by the Ministry of Defence, this is the UK's foremost event for defence procurement and supply chain engagement.
DPRTE Expo 2027
The UK's foremost event for
defence procurement
The UK’s defence landscape is changing fast and with it, the demands on the supply chain that supports it. With the publication of the Defence Investment Plan, the direction of travel is now clear. Significant new funding, accelerated capability development and evolving operational requirements are reshaping the sector at pace. The ability of industry to respond, scale and deliver through a resilient, capable and integrated supply chain has become central to how defence outcomes are achieved. The DPRTE Expo 2027 is where the organisations driving and enabling that response come together.
Officially supported by the Ministry of Defence, this is the UK’s foremost event for defence procurement and supply chain engagement. Across two focused days, it provides expert led content, direct access to buyers and the connections that enable organisations across the supply chain to align with demand, understand requirements and translate opportunity into delivery and contract.
The DPRTE Expo 2027 returning to Farnborough takes place at a pivotal moment as the UK implements the Strategic Defence Review and begins to deliver against the newly published Defence Investment Plan, which includes a £15 billion funding increase within a broader programme of nearly £300 billion in defence investment over the next four years.
These are not abstract commitments. They are already reshaping procurement priorities, contracting models and supply chain structures in real time. Investment is accelerating across advanced capability areas including next generation combat air, nuclear, autonomous systems and digital technologies, increasing both the scale of opportunity and the reliance on a broad, agile and highly capable supply chain to deliver at pace. DPRTE Expo 2027 reflects that reality. The programme is built around the decisions being made, the funding being deployed and the opportunities emerging, alongside the relationships that will determine which organisations are best positioned across the supply chain to compete for and deliver this investment.
"Defence needs to be able to move fast to respond to an increasingly unpredictable and dangerous world. This means not just having the right capabilities, but ensuring our supply chains are resilient, responsive and able to sustain operations over time."
Luke Pollard MP, Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry

The conversations driving the agenda
"An event like DPRTE really helps suppliers to understand how defence works and engage in a network not only with the Ministry of Defence but also with their broader supply chain — and that's really difficult to do outside of a face-to-face event like this."
"Events such as DPRTE allow us to deliver brand awareness across the defence sector — and that's what's been really interesting for us today."
"The level of engagement across DPRTE 2026 was outstanding. Keynote and workshop sessions were well attended throughout, exhibition spaces were consistently busy, and the quality of dialogue — across every zone, every conversation, every connection made — reinforced just how vital a role DPRTE plays in supporting better decision-making and a more connected defence ecosystem."
