DPRTE Expo 2027

The UK's foremost event for
defence procurement

The UKโ€™s defence landscape is changing fast, and with it the demands on the supply chain that supports it. Following the publication of the Defence Investment Plan, and with MOD's updated SME Action Plan setting out ambitious targets to grow small business spend, understanding these shifts has never mattered more. the direction of travel is now clear. Significant new funding, accelerated capability development and evolving operational requirements are reshaping the sector at pace. The ability of industry to respond through a resilient, capable and integrated supply chain is now central to delivering defence outcomes. DPRTE Expo 2027 is where the organisations driving and enabling that response come together.

Officially supported by the Ministry of Defence, DPRTE Expo is the UKโ€™s leading event for defence procurement and supply chain engagement. Across two focused days, it delivers expert-led content, direct access to buyers and valuable networking opportunities, helping organisations align with demand, understand requirements and turn opportunity into delivery and contract success.

Returning to Farnborough, DPRTE Expo 2027 takes place at a pivotal moment as the UK begins implementing the Strategic Defence Review and delivering against the newly published Defence Investment Plan, which includes a ยฃ15 billion funding increase within a wider programme of almost ยฃ300 billion in defence investment over the next four years.

These commitments are already shaping procurement priorities, contracting models and supply chain structures. Investment is accelerating across next-generation combat air, nuclear, autonomous systems and digital technologies, creating significant opportunities while increasing the need for an agile, innovative and highly capable supply chain. DPRTE Expo 2027 reflects this reality, bringing together the people, organisations, insights and opportunities that will define the future of UK defence procurement and supply chain delivery.

"Defence needs to be able to move fast to respond to an increasingly unpredictable and dangerous world. This means not just having the right capabilities, but ensuring our supply chains are resilient, responsive and able to sustain operations over time."
