Procurement Act Knowledge Transfer Zone

The government’s Procurement Reform programme aims to improve the way public procurement is regulated.

The overarching goals of the programme are to speed up and simplify procurement processes, place value for money at their heart, generate social value and unleash opportunities for small businesses, charities and social enterprises to innovate in public service delivery.

Attending the Procurement Act Zone at DPRTE will allow buyers to learn more about proposed changes and how these could impact public procurement processes within the defence sector.

Defence Sector buyer sessions

The Procurement Act Skills Zone is brought to you by PASS (Procurement Advice and Support Service) and will deliver a series of sessions aimed specifically at public defence sector procurement buyers.

This interactive zone will offer a one stop shop for anyone looking to understand more about the Procurement Act and the changes ahead. Sessions are free to attend, and all sessions are CPD Certified and count towards CIPS Chartered Status.
