The British Army is receiving investment in long-endurance surveillance drones and over 1,000 smaller unmanned systems across two separate procurement deals announced on 16 September 2026. The contracts represent the government’s commitment to equipping frontline soldiers with next-generation Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capability and will support over 1,000 skilled jobs across UK manufacturing sites.
