RAF Brize Norton’s runway resurfacing programme has forced the Air Mobility Force to disperse 40 aircraft and hundreds of personnel across multiple UK airfields. The operation, called Project MACE, is continuing flying operations uninterrupted while enabling essential infrastructure work and testing the RAF’s ability to operate from dispersed locations.
