The Polish Navy recently launched ORP Wicher, the first of three Miecznik-class frigates, in Gdynia. The vessel is based on Babcock International’s Arrowhead 140 design and represents a cornerstone of the UK–Poland defence partnership established under the Northolt Treaty security and defence agreement.
