Royal Air Force Typhoon aircraft and supporting personnel are currently deployed to Romania on Operation BILOXI, contributing to NATO’s enhanced Air Policing mission on the Alliance’s eastern flank alongside Romanian Air Force colleagues. The deployment, which runs until August, sees RAF and Romanian forces operating as a fully integrated unit under NATO command and control arrangements.
