The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has initiated a significant wargaming exercise designed to rigorously test the resilience of the UK’s defence supply chains under the pressures of sustained, large-scale conflict. This exercise, announced on 29 April 2026, brings together senior MOD leadership and five major industry partners – Boeing, KNDS, MBDA, Rheinmetall, and Tekever – to identify potential constraints in the procurement and distribution of critical military equipment.
