NATO’s technology agency and Finnish forces have tested a system for detecting and locating GPS jamming and interference at sea and in the air, as disruption to satellite navigation signals becomes a growing threat to military and civilian operations alike. The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) has completed operational testing of an experimental system designed to detect, classify and locate interference with satellite navigation signals, working alongside the Finnish Border Guard and Finnish Defence Forces.
